Since we are coming to the end of January (when did that happen?) I thought I would do a round-up of all the books I managed to read this month.
In total I completed 6 books which I’m really pleased with. I guess the time off at the start of the year really helped. Audiobooks are also a game-changer. Reading one paperback at home and listening to a different book on the train or while doing household tasks made it a lot easier to achieve.
I won’t review each book here as I plan to have separate posts for most of them very soon.
The books I read this month included:
1. BirdBox by Josh Malerman
Rating: 5/5
2. This will only hurt a little by Busy Philips
Rating: 3/5
3. One Day in December by Josie Silver
Rating: 2/5
4. The Lido by Libby Page
Rating: 2/5
5. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
Rating: 5/5
6. One of us is Lying by Karen M. McManus
Rating: 4/5
February Reading Goal:
I don’t know if I will be able to read as much next month because it is going to be pretty hectic but the one book I really want to start reading is The Secret History by Donna Tartt, which has been on my ‘to be read’ pile for quite some time.

Congrats on 6 books! That’s the number I hit in January as well. One of Us is Lying looks like my cup of tea, may have to add that to my TBR!
