May 2023 reading update

Last month, I didn’t read much at all and ended up in a reading slump. But this month I’ve found some great books that have pulled me out of it.

The last book I read

I finished two books recently and enjoyed them both. The first was Happy Place by Emily Henry which was great. I think it’s one of the best she’s written. The other one I’ve read is The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. This was a fun read but I don’t know why it’s being compared to the Hunger Games because it’s a mystery.

My current read

At the moment, I’m listening to Five Little Pigs by Agatha Christie on audiobook. I was also sent a copy of The Interpreter by Brooke Robinson which I’ve just started reading in physical format too.

My next read

It depends on my mood, but it’ll probably either be Small Worlds by Caleb Azumah Nelson or The School For Good Mothers by Jessamine Chan.
