Last month, I joined an online book club via Bookstagram. It mainly focusses on YA reads and is how I came to discover Lynn Painter’s books.
I adored the book club pick – Better than the Movies – so much that I also read Betting On You by the same author.
In a bid to try and get back into fantasy, I continued with my read of the Throne of Glass series by picking up Crown of Midnight.
The other book that stood out to me was Dolly Alderton’s Good Material. I found this to be an interesting read, focussing on the male perspective of a break-up. However, I think it only gripped me closer to the end of the novel.
