Reading update: Last, current and next read

Happy World Book Day!

I’ve been busy the last month so my February reading wrap-up is slightly delayed. But I thought I’d do a brief summary of what I’m currently reading and plan to read next.

Last read: James by Percival Everett

This reimagining of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain told through the eyes of Jim was brilliant. I also don’t think you need to read Twain’s book to read James. This is the first book I’ve read in March and it got me out of a reading slump.

Current Read: This Must Be the Place by Maggie O’Farrell

I’m about a quarter of the way into this so far and really enjoying it. I’ve not read many books by this author but have heard lots of great things. I’ll have more to say on this in my March monthly wrap-up.

Next Read: Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins

I’m hoping to read more books before this is released at the end of the month but since I’m a mood reader I’m not 100 percent sure what I’ll be reading next but I know I’ll definitely pick this up immediately upon release.
